Positive
1) I add a lot of details and can be creative with them. While some are too small to understand, I often hide a message in the form of a detail somewhere in the image. Without them every drawing is missing something, which is why I'm proud of my ability to add strategic custom details. When doing digital art, I often create my own brushes to add texture or pattern details.
2) Pretty good knowledge of how to effectively apply color (shading, skin tones, reflective surfaces, etc.)This goes for non digital medium too. For a simple example, I am well aware that to make a darker color for shading you do NOT normally mix the base color with black.I am also good at choosing the right colored pencils to blend how I want them to.
3) I am very good at doodling whatever I want to. Most of my random sketches are decent... I mention this as a positive thing because I've seen so many people take over half an hour just trying to draw a head without shading or anything. My sketches are more emotional than things I slave over, and the poses are more dynamic. While I'm proud of them, I need to start taking and outline/clean/color them. Most of what I post here is stuff I spent a while on. Quite honestly the concepts of my 5 minute sketches are more impressive than anything I've posted here.

4) BORING POSES and pictures in general!!! I said above that my sketches can be dynamic, but usually when I decide to color something its always a boring ass poss xD not to mention the fact that I rarely post any human character who has been drawn past the waist. What's also boring is my striking lack of animals @_@ I don't think I'd want to base an entire picture off an animal (a landscape, maybe) but I don't even add animals to pictures focusing on a human OC.
5) Where have all the backgrounds gone? Answer: They never existed. While I have some older drawings with background... quite frankly, the drawings themselves suck. Its sad because I like backgrounds, I have a few flash animated backgrounds though (with water dripping, glowy plant things, wind movement, etc.) If I spent that much time on backgrounds elsewhere, it would probably improve my drawings a lot. I ALWAYS paint background to foreground though and often get eager to start drawing the person (if there is one) because my favorite things to draw are humanoids.
6) Repetitive emotions... are all of my characters posing for a driver's license ID? probably... I always draw that blank stare because I focus more on the clothing design (though often BS the clothing coloring if I spent too much time on the face.)Its more like I'm still playing with the character designs... but I don't see why I can't mess with them with different facial expressions. Again, my sketches contain many different emotions that no one gets to see
Got this from
Yeah, after reading that I decided that when I want to draw something I should treat it as a simple sketch... even do more than one if I have to. Then choose the most interesting/unique one I come up with. Rather than sitting down and drawing OCs without even know what I'm looking for. In my sketches I often have an idea of the emotion or scene I'm going for and end up with what I want because I don't focus on every little thing... I should do that step first before deciding to color something. (most of the drawings on here are when I sat down and decided I needed to draw something but I didn't know what OR I had a too concrete idea of what I was drawing) Also, if I'm going to BS some part of the drawing, I should just walk away and come back to it later.

i love ur work by the way! it's awesome ^^
